Some very dear friends of ours tucked their two boys in bed last night like normal, but this morning only one woke up. Their 4-year-old died suddenly in his sleep. An autopsy revealed nothing. Not a thing. His heart was fine. His organs were entirely healthy looking. He simply died.
His parents are devastated. We’re marginally better. Our kids played together. Life is simply fragile.
There is hope. This child is baptized. He rests with Jesus, waiting for resurrection.
Please pray for comfort, for peace, for strength, for the things we don’t know to pray for but which only God can give.
